It's amazing the reputation that Galeyrand has built without any Grand or 1er Cru vineyards.
It's a testament to both his winemaking and his well-situated old vine parcels.

His wines stand out for their purity, detail, and gorgeous textures. We've been working with Galeyrand's wines for the past six years and have watched the wines grow more refined with each passing year.
In short, Jérôme Galeyrand is crafting utterly breathtaking red Burgundy.
Today, I'm happy to offer Galeyrand's 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin La Justice.
Galeyrand's vines in the fascinating La Justice lieu-dit are old - they were planted in 1960. It's hard not to believe that they contribute to the wine's signature marriage of intensity and refinement.
La Justice is a rare and important site on the eastern side of the D974, formerly and more famously called the RN74. Galeyrand's 2023 La Justice flaunts the power that the site is known for, but adds an energetic snap and a luminous precision. The stony core is embellished with layers of earth and dark fruits. It's a wine with plenty of volume, with an amazing, luminous lifted quality.
Jérôme Galeyrand is clearly an exceedingly talented winemaker. The 2023 La Justice really underscores this.
