"The 2014 Comtes de Champagne is pristine... Readers will find a Comtes that plays in the realm of tension and energy."
When Taittinger Comtes de Champagne is on, it can reach heights that only a select few Champagnes can achieve.

The 2014 Comtes de Champagne has an ultra-clear, super-fine chalky minerality and a gorgeous rigor - exactly what I look for in Champagne.
Along with Krug's Clos de Mesnil, Dom Ruinart, Salon, and Selosse, Comtes de Champagne is the quintessential Blanc de Blancs. The 2014 epitomizes the regal minerality and finesse that defines this wine in all its glory.
Comtes de Champagne is Taittinger's prestige cuvée, first released in 1952 and sourced from some of the Côte des Blancs' top Grand Crus (Avize, Le Mesnil, and Oger, along with a little Chouilly and Cramant).
The wine can show its share of richness, but its hallmark is one of elegance and impeccable class and breed. What makes me so excited about the 2014 is how outrageously pure and detailed this vintage is.
This is a thrilling Comtes de Champagne. Given the wine's verve and harmony, we expect it to age gloriously. I'm very happy to offer this at sharp pricing.

Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media: "The 2014 Comtes de Champagne is pristine. In this tasting, it comes across as a mini-2008, similar in its linear personality, with just a touch more mid-polate creaminess. Readers will find a Comtes that plays in the realm of tension and energy. Citrus confit, white flowers, chalk, mint and chomomile are all finely sketched Light tropical overtones grace the finish. What an absolute delight. The 2014 can be enjoyed now or cellored"
