Showstopping:
Ulysse Collin Blanc de Blanc
Les Pierrieres Extra Brut (2012)

Ulysse Collin have always been some of the most singular and compelling Champagnes around. Recently, though, things have clicked into high gear. The past few releases have been showstopping delivering a thrilling, mind-bending complexity.

Collin Blanc de Blancs Les Roises Extra Brut (2012 Base)

It's impossible not to take notice of Ulysse Collin's Champagnes, especially the recent releases. They can nearly overwhelm the senses with their multi-dimensional complexity that seems to hit you from every angle.

2009 Marie-Noëlle Ledru Brut Grand Cru:
Shocking Energy and Lift

Ledru produced beautiful 2009s. We jumped on the chance to pick up another parcel. Vintage Ledru is very difficult to find - it's rare to see more than a handful of listings for any given vintage of Ledru.

Some of the most compelling wines being made in Champagne today.
Collin Blanc de Noirs Les Maillons Extra-Brut (2012 base)

There's little doubt that things have clicked into high gear at Ulysse Collin. His releases from the 2010 base were stunning and the 2011s were some of the best of the vintage.

One of the great wines of Champagne:
2000 Philipponnat Clos des Goisses

Clos des Goisses is an absolutely unique experience of straining mineral power and aristocratic breeding. The Clos des Goisses vineyard is without equal in Champagne. Clos des Goisses is one of the steepest vineyards in all of Champagne, consisting of 5.5 perfectly south-facing hectares of very hard, deep chalk in the Marne. The incline is so extreme that nets are put up to catch workers who lose their footing during harvest.

Game-Changer: Selosse Brut Rosé

Selosse's Rosé is simply magical. Jacques Selosse is famous for producing game-changing, utterly singular Champagnes. Out of his entire line-up, the rosé might be the most individual. It's a wine that burns itself into your memory.

Wine of the Year Revisited in Magnum: 2008 Moncuit Chetillons Blanc de Blancs MAGNUM

Chétillons is one of the greatest patches of earth for Chardonnay. Which explains why I was so excited to hear that 2008 would be Robert Moncuit's inaugural release from this site.

One of the finest grower-producers - 2010 Ledru Cuvee du Goulte

Ledru's Champagnes are famous for their steely, chalky backbones. The 2010 Goulté is a dramatic example of this. It's a beautiful example of Goulté showing a tensile, floral and insanely energetic side of the cuvée.

Firing on All Cyclinders: 1989 Krug Collection Magnums

"When Krug is firing on all cylinders, there really is no substitute." -Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

1995 Dom Pérignon Rosé P2

Claiming Dom Pérignon's Rosé to be the best in all of Champagne is beside the point. For me, it's one of the world's great wines.

A World Class Debut: 2006 Dom Pérignon

It's with great pleasure that I offer 2006 Dom Pérignon, a bottle that I have very high hopes for. My love for Dom Pérignon has been well documented.

Impeccable Class and Power in Magnum, Lowest Price: 2005 Taittinger Comtes de Champagne

"Comtes de Champagne remains the best value in grand marque Tête de Cuvée Champagne." -Antonio Galloni

World Premiere, Special Pricing: 2003 Krug Clos du Mesnil

The 1.84-hectare Clos du Mesnil is holy ground for Chardonnay.

World Premiere - Special Pricing: Krug 2003

Today I go out on a limb and embrace extremity. In my 25+ year love affair with Krug, I've never encountered an example quite like this. And truthfully, I feel better for embracing it. I've said this before, but I should repeat it in this context: I love all things Krug. And the 2003, despite all its uniqueness, is resoundingly Krug.

Krug Rose Half-Bottles - Lowest Price in the World: Limited Time Only

In this season of indulgence and magnum-sized revelry, let me take a moment to go small. But if the size of these bottles is small, what's inside is as grand as ever.

Crack the Code: Very Special Krug Offer

Some of my most compelling and memorable Champagne experiences have been older Krug Grande Cuvées. They have been absolutely heartbreaking in their depth, complexity, nuance and overall elegance. Make no mistake, Krug's Grande Cuvée ages majestically. In fact, this is one of the great secrets among Champagne fanatics.

1988 Krug Clos du Mesnil: Unprecedented

Provenance is everything. Let’s be honest: If you’re going to buy old Clos du Mesnil, you'd better know that the stock is pristine.

85 Krug Collection Magnum: Lowest Price in the World

An astounding Champagne, the 1985 Krug Collection out of magnum is simply epic. The 85 Collection magnum is also the rarest Krug new-release that we have ever encountered. Only three other stores in the world currently have the wine; NONE have meaningful quantities.

2007 Crush Wine of the Year: Krug Grande Cuvee

Choosing any one wine, out of a year's worth of incredible experiences, is a daunting task.
