Out of Brovia's consistently stunning line-up of single Crus, Rocche is always the stand out.
In recent vintages Brovia established themselves as one of the great traditional estates of Piedmont. In the 2016, they leaped into an even greater level of quality. The wines are more refined, purer, and more detailed.
The past handful of vintages have offered ample evidence that Brovia is at the top of their game. Their 2014 Brovia Barolo Ūnĭo may offer the most persuasive argument for inclusion among Piedmont's elite.
Within the top ranks of Barolo, it's difficult to compete with Brovia in terms of value. The estate is at the top of their game. You don't have to look any further for evidence than their 2013 Barolo.
There are very few of Barolo's top producers whose best bottles go for under $100. Brovia leads this list. And the list doesn't top four or five producers.
Regardless of the vintage, Brovia's Rocche is utterly captivating. It's a wine that has dazzling elegance and aromatics.
"This is a gorgeous set of wines from Brovia." -Antonio Galloni
