This is one of the storied domaines of Burgundy. Even when you keep that in mind, the wines they are producing are mind-blowing. They have show-stopping elegance, real impact and complexity, and serious cut and structure.
Today, we're happy to offer Leflaive spanning nearly a decade and covering everything from Bourgogne Blanc to Chevalier-Montrachet.
The fact that Leflaive's Bourgogne and Puligny AC are as good as they are underlines the outrageous quality that the domaine is turning out. These have a punch, refinement, and detailed minerality that are rarely encountered at these levels.
Meursault-Blagny 1er Cru Sous le Dos d'Ane combines layered richness with incredible precision. The Clavoillon has a stunning brilliance in its delivery of minerality and citrus flavors.
Bâtard-Montrachet is one of the grandest, most lavish, and regal examples of Chardonnay. Leflaive's Bâtard endows the site's grandness of scale with a finesse and lift that really stands out. The Chevalier-Montrachet is simply one of the great white Burgundies around.
