2014 Rousseau Chambertin-Clos de Beze & Chambertin

The heights that Rousseau can achieve are simply magical.

DRC, Roumier and Rousseau form the holy trinity of Red Burgundy producers.

Some of my greatest wine experiences have been provided by Rousseau. They are vigorous, saturating yet graceful, supremely elegant and devastatingly complex Red Burgundies. The 2014s serve as a powerful summary of these qualities.

I love the 2014 Red Burgundies for their clarity, finesse and harmony. Catch one of the top 2014s and you'll encounter Red Burgundy at its most captivating.

Rousseau's 2014s are gorgeous. Heading into this holiday weekend, I went to the top of the range with Chambertin Clos de Beze and Chambertin.

Both of these represent the apex of Red Burgundy. Clos de Beze is a luminous and soaring expression of Gevrey with beautifully complex notes of bright and dark red fruits and a subtle undercurrent of minerality. Chambertin is more defined by earth and mineral and works on a superbly compact and refined register.

I should warn you that quantities are very limited. My advice is not to hesitate if you're interested.
