We believe that tasting wine is an integral part of wine education and enjoyment. There is no better way to learn about wine and your taste for it than to pull corks and sip - and tasting is always more fun with other people.

Our tasting room is a warm and inviting space that features beautiful wooden tables crafted from 250 year old oak, leather chairs, granite countertops and fine crystal glassware. Most importantly, there are always wines open for you to taste daily at no charge.

Daily Tastings (They're Free!)

Crush proudly provides free daily in-store wine tastings. These tastings are a great way for you to familiarize yourself with the quality of the wines at Crush, and more importantly, familiarize us with your palate so that our recommendations are more likely to suit your tastes.

Each week we feature two or three wines that we're especially excited about and pour tastes for our guests throughout the day. Each wine is accompanied by written descriptions that provide detailed information and suggest food pairings. Click here to see this week's selections, and remember, they change every Monday.

Crush Classes

Crush features classes as unique and as fun as the wines we sell.

Whatever your level of wine knowledge, Crush can help you learn more. Our informal events focus on special themes or regions, such as rare varietals or Champagnes or how to navigate a restaurant wine list. Relaxed classes on "mysterious and elusive grapes" or "how to pair wine with sushi" are lead by a Crush Wine Expert - oftentimes by our Wine Director Lyle Fass himself or special guests like Daniel Johnnes, David Gordon, and Larry Stone.

Because of our affiliation with the Myriad Restaurant Group we are able to pair foods from Nobu, Montachet and Tribeca Grill with the wine we pour at our regular events.

Special Events

Special appearances by winemakers and importers are featured at Crush on a monthly basis. These free events provide an opportunity to interact directly with the vintners and producers who craft our quality wines. Keep informed of these special events by joining our email list.

Private Tastings and Events

Our tasting room is available for your next wine event. Whether you want a guided tasting of rare wines from "The Cube" or a casual reception, we can customize a special event that fits your budget and exceeds your expectations. We pair wine with food from our exceptional affiliated New York restaurants and a handful of carefully selected caterers. Consultations for offsite events are also available.

Prefer to have your event at home? Our wine experts are happy to bring the party from our tasting room to your living room. We'll take care of everything, including wine selection and transportation, glassware, cleaning up and leaving without a trace. From Black Tie champagne toasts to a flight of summer whites in sneakers and shorts, we've got it covered.
