Crush Wine & Spirits was created by a very special trio of native New Yorkers with a commitment to excellence in the food, wine, and collectibles business. Drew Nieporent, Josh Guberman and Robert Schagrin have combined their diverse and extensive experience in food, wine, and collectibles to launch Crush with the finest products and a focus and sensitivity to service and value.

Do not be intimidated by the beauty and elegance of our space. We have worked hard with our suppliers to insure that our pricing remains highly competitive across the board so that our customers can enjoy great value in a warm and inviting retail space.

We've also assembled a group of wine experts (consider them your own personal sommeliers) whose goal is to make sure that you discover a wine that you enjoy by suggesting their favorites or leading you through one of our free daily tastings.

Our Wines & Spirits

Crush Wine & Spirits is committed to providing you the world's most exceptional wine and spirits at affordable, market competitive prices. We've tasted a broad scope of wine and spirits to limit our diverse selection to only the wines that we are passionate about, passing on many items that do not meet our rigorous standards.

We have personally chosen every item we carry to create an affordable but extensive base of inventory that maximizes the chance that you will find a value-priced, high quality wine that you enjoy.

Our selection is diverse, but the common theme that unites many of our wine & spirits is their limited production. These wines & spirits are hand-crafted by independent producers whose care and attention is reflected in their individual quality. While a volume-driven producer can ship as many as 4 million cases per year, many of our winemakers produce less than 5,000 cases during the same amount of time. We also carry a wide selection of "friendly faces" that many of our customers are familiar with, all priced competitively with other New York area shops.

Daily Complimentary Tastings

Several wines are always open in our elegant tasting room for you to try at no charge or obligation- not only to allow you to sample our offerings, but also to help our knowledgeable staff to get a sense of your palate. These wines change weekly and we often have a "wine of the day" open, so there's always something new to check out.

Our customers are often surprised to find that we invite the public in for daily free tastings. It's just our way of introducing you to Crush Wine & Spirits and giving everyone an opportunity to enjoy great wine without having to buy a bottle that may not be to their liking or a good fit.

We also offer public and private classes and wine events, so whether you want to learn and taste with a group of like-minded enthusiasts or desire a private guided wine tasting led by one of our experts, it's happening at Crush.
